I would like to explain <strong>What\u2019s the difference between UI and UX? <\/strong>as I knew.<\/p>\n<p><strong>User Interface (UI)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the most basic level, the <strong>user interface<\/strong> (UI) is the series of screens, pages, and visual elements\u2014like buttons and icons\u2014that you use to interact with a device.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-254 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/spiceworksmyanmar.com.local\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ei_uiux1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"366\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.spiceworksmyanmar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ei_uiux1.png 700w, https:\/\/www.spiceworksmyanmar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ei_uiux1-300x157.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>User experience (UX)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>User experience<\/strong> (UX), on the other hand, is the internal experience that a person has as they interact with every aspect of a company\u2019s products and services.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-256 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/spiceworksmyanmar.com.local\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ei_uiux2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"366\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.spiceworksmyanmar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ei_uiux2.png 700w, https:\/\/www.spiceworksmyanmar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ei_uiux2-300x157.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>What is UI?<\/p>\n<p>Back in the 1970\u2019s, if you wanted to use a computer you had to use the command line interface, which looked like this:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-257 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/spiceworksmyanmar.com.local\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ei_uiux3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"366\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.spiceworksmyanmar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ei_uiux3.png 700w, https:\/\/www.spiceworksmyanmar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ei_uiux3-300x157.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You couldn\u2019t buy a computer with graphics, icons, buttons, or a mouse. They didn\u2019t exist commercially yet. To get the computer to do what you wanted, you had to speak to it in a computer programming language.<\/p>\n<p>Then in 1981, a group of computer scientists at Xerox PARC developed and launched the Xerox Star\u2014a personal computer with the very first graphical user interface (GUI).<\/p>\n<p>It used windows, icons, drop-down menus, radio buttons, and checkboxes. And it allowed users to open, move, and delete files.<\/p>\n<p>The advent of the GUI introduced the need for a new breed of designer\u2014one who was focused on the graphical interface of a personal computer.<\/p>\n<p>This discipline has evolved over the last few decades, and it\u2019s going to continue to evolve in the future.<\/p>\n<p>UI designers today are working on websites, apps, wearables, and other programs. They may be responsible for things like designing the layout of a digital product\u2019s interface and the visual elements on all the pages or screens of the system.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-258 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/spiceworksmyanmar.com.local\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ei_uiux4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"366\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.spiceworksmyanmar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ei_uiux4.png 700w, https:\/\/www.spiceworksmyanmar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/ei_uiux4-300x157.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is UX?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The term UX was coined by cognitive scientist Don Norman in the early 1990\u2019s while he was VP of the Advanced Technology Group at Apple.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how he formally defines it:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018User experience\u2019 encompasses all aspects of the end-user\u2019s interaction with the company, its services, and its products.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI invented the term because I thought Human Interface and usability were too narrow: I wanted to cover all aspects of the person\u2019s experience with a system, including industrial design, graphics, the interface, the physical interaction, and the manual.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>By definition, user experience covers a broad range of disciplines, and it can be hard for some to wrap their heads around (like myself when I was first learning about it).<\/p>\n<p>True user experience goes far beyond giving customers what they say they want, or providing checklist features. In order to achieve high-quality user experience in a company\u2019s offerings there must be a seamless merging of the services of multiple disciplines, including engineering, marketing, graphical and industrial design, and interface design.<\/p>\n<p>UX isn\u2019t limited to the visual interface of your product.<\/p>\n<p>Eg :\u00a0 It\u2019s a concept that has many dimensions and encompasses the entire journey a person takes, including:<\/p>\n<p>UX designers are responsible for ensuring that the company delivers a product or service that meets the needs of the customer and allows them to seamlessly achieve their desired outcome.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s the difference between UI and UX?<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s important to distinguish the total user experience from the user interface (UI), even though the UI is obviously an extremely important part of the design.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>As an example, consider a website with movie reviews.
